Fees
  • Free Consultation
  • Contingent Fees
With some law firms, the attorney’s fee may not be all you are responsible for. Nearly all contingent fee agreements include terms which allow the attorney to pay for the expenses incurred in building a case for the client up front and deduct them from the settlement along with the attorney’s fee. Some law firms will charge the client for these expenses even if no cash settlement is obtained for the client. The Law Offices of T. Andrew Miller does not practice law this way, no matter the circumstances. If the client does not receive a cash settlement at the conclusion of his or her injury claim, then the client owes nothing. http://www.amillerlegal.com/no-fee-unless-we-win-explained/

Legal Answers
85 Questions Answered

Q. I fell on wet floor headed to clock in. They wont pay because they said I had on wrong shoes and hadn't clocked in yet
A: Hire a workers comp lawyer to represent you. Based on the facts provided, it sounds like you should be covered.
Q. If I work for an employer and I go into a building and fall threw the floor injuring my ribs. Can I sue
A: You probably have a case against the building owner/operator but it’s much different than a workers comp case and it can be different than your typical “slip and fall” case since you were on the job. Best advise is to consult with an attorney who understands each type of case and whom can ask the right questions about the entire set of facts and circumstances so you can know your options completely.
Q. My workmans comp adjuster was made aware of the unpaid bills and emailed copies of everything a month ago.
A: Time to hire a lawyer.
