Sarah Barrett

Sarah Barrett is a dedicated Associate Attorney with Stange Law Firm, serving clients throughout Marion County and nearby areas from the firm’s Indianapolis, Indiana office.

Sarah earned her Juris Doctor from the Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law in 2021, along with certificates in Health Law and International and Comparative Law. During law school, she was a Student Ambassador and competed in the Intramural Moot Court. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science from the University of South Carolina.

Sarah is licensed to practice law in Indiana. Before joining Stange Law Firm, she worked as a Managed Care Manager with the Indiana Family and Social Services Administration, overseeing coordination between Medicaid departments and ensuring fraud compliance. Previously, she served as an Attorney Associate in the agency’s Office of General Counsel, representing the Office of Medicaid Policy and Planning and advising on Medicaid issues.

Earlier in her career, Sarah represented survivors of domestic violence, stalking, and sex crimes at the Center for Victim and Human Rights, where she also mentored legal externs. Her legal experience includes externships and clerkships with organizations focused on healthcare compliance and access to justice.

Sarah also served in the South Carolina Army National Guard from 2009 to 2016. She achieved the rank of Sergeant, led a squad of soldiers, and supported international training efforts, including assisting Polish forces preparing for deployment to Afghanistan.
