Mr. Coe is focused on the areas of criminal defense and family law throughout the City of New York – Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens, and the Bronx – as well as the Hudson Valley – Westchester, Rockland, Orange, Putnam and Dutchess counties. Beginning his legal career as an Assistant District Attorney in the Trial Division of the Manhattan District Attorney's Office under Cyrus Vance, Jr., Mr. Coe successfully handled countless investigations, arrests, indictments and trials. During his time as a prosecutor, Mr. Coe's responsibilities included grand jury proceedings, evidentiary hearings, trials, and supervising complex investigations as the lead law enforcement officer and attorney.
Mr. Coe steadfastly believes that while a client’s current legal troubles may be at the forefront of his or her mind, it is critical to consider the future adverse impacts of a criminal conviction, Family Court settlement, or Title IX disciplinary decisions. Mr.Coe prides himself in his energy and resilience fighting for his clients' rights with vigilance and compassion. Whether obtaining dismissals or reductions before trial, acquittals after trial, favorable custody, visitation or support rulings, or beneficial findings in student misconduct investigations at colleges and universities, Mr. Coe is always prepared and accessible.
