Big Firm Results With Small Firm Personal Attention
I was born in San Antonio, Texas, and due to my father's role in the US Army, we moved frequently. I spent my high school years at Fakville High School and lived in Hartselle from 1975 to 1992. I completed my undergraduate studies at the University of Alabama in 1988 and continued there to earn my law degree in 1991. After graduating, I passed the bar exam on my first try and began my career as a law clerk for the Honorable Thomas Younger, the presiding judge at the Madison County Circuit Court.
Following my clerkship, I joined forces with my sister, Jackie Ferguson Graham, and we founded our law firm, Ferguson & Ferguson, in January 1993. We have been practicing together for 34 years, serving both Huntsville and Decatur, Alabama. Since starting my practice, I have focused on criminal and personal injury law. My sister has handled divorce and bankruptcy cases since 1988. Our firm has offices in both Decatur and Huntsville.
In my role as an injury attorney, I have managed over 6,000 cases, including wrongful deaths, car accidents, motorcycle accidents, truck accidents, slip and fall accidents, and many other types of accidents (dog bites, chemical exposures, and workers' compensation cases). I have successfully recovered tens of millions of dollars for my clients, achieving numerous settlements in excess of a million dollars.
Additionally, I have overseen more than 5,000 criminal cases in North Alabama, covering a range from DUIs to capital murder, with over 2,000 of those being drug offense cases throughout my 34 years of practice.
