Rafik Ayvazi
Rafik Ayvazi concentrates his practice in Construction, Real Estate, Business, Construction Risk Management, Litigation Prevention, Litigation, Arbitration, Mediation, Wage and Hour defense, Consulting. His background in Construction Management and Real Estate has enabled him to be an effective advocate for his clients. Rafik’s knowledge in contract negotiation, mediation, litigation and arbitration of real estate & construction matters, allows him to represent a broad range of clients including general contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, property owners, and real estate brokers and agents. In addition, Rafik provides general counsel services for several construction and real estate companies based in Southern California. In 1986, after receiving his Master of Science with an emphasis in Construction Management (Northeastern University, Boston, Mass.1981) in addition to his Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering (Pahlavi University, Shiraz-Iran1975), Rafik was admitted to the California Bar. Since 1984 Rafik has been a Licensed General Contractor, and a Licensed Real Estate Broker. Rafik also holds the Construction Risk and Insurance Specialist (CRIS) designation. These, in addition to being an attorney, are combination of expertise which allows him to integrate law with business providing a unique perspective unmatched by other professionals in the industry.
Rafik has also been admitted to practice before all of the United States District Courts of California; the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit; Federal Claims Court; Tax Court, and United States Supreme Court
Rafik has been a member of the State Bar of California, San Fernando Valley Bar Association, Iranian American Lawyers Association, Armenian Bar Association, Associated General Contractors of California Legal Advisory Committee, Armenian Professional Society, Iranian American Construction Association, and Armenian American Chamber of Commerce. Rafik speaks Armenian and Farsi.
