Rachel K. Leff-Kich

Rachel Kimiko Leff-Kich has been practicing family law exclusively since December 2010, and joined Lonich & Patton in May 2013. Prior to joining Lonich & Patton, Ms. Leff-Kich practiced family law in San Francisco, and has worked with clients all over the Bay Area. Ms. Leff-Kich focuses on family law cases involving high-conflict custody, child and spousal support, and complex financial issues. Ms. Leff-Kich received her Juris Doctorate from Santa Clara University. While in law school, she clerked with several non-profit organizations including the Law Foundation of Silicon Valley: Health Legal Services, and Equal Rights Advocates in San Francisco. Ms. Leff-Kich received the Justice John Paul Stevens Fellowship Award for her work with non-profits, the CALI-Excellence for the Future Award in the Law & Social Justice Seminar, and was recognized for her extensive volunteer work with Pro Bono Awards in 2008, 2009, and 2010. She also chaired several student organizations, including the Community Service Committee. Ms. Leff-Kich enjoys family law because she is able to help clients achieve a positive outcome during what can be an extremely difficult time in their lives. Her conviction, empathy, and legal research and writing skills combine to make her a strong advocate on behalf of her clients. Ms. Leff-Kich graduated from the University of California, Davis in 2004 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology and an emphasis in Law & Society. In her spare time she enjoys outdoor activities, yoga, and trying new restaurants.
