Philip Abbott is an Associate Attorney for Stange Law Firm, PC at the Ellisville, MO office where he can help family law clients with their important legal matters throughout West St. Louis County.

Philip earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Missouri – St. Louis with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering. He went on to earn his Juris Doctor from Saint Louis University School of Law. Prior to enrolling for college, Philip served in the United States Navy. He served as a Petty Officer 2nd Class in Aircraft Maintenance Administration. He is currently licensed to practice law in the State of Missouri.

Prior to joining Stange Law Firm, Philip earned valuable law experience working for a firm located in St. Louis. It was there he practiced mostly personal injury, products liability law, and multi-district litigation. He assisted the lead attorney in medical device suits, coordinating 200+ clients’ cases through all phases of a trial. He conducted research on state statutes and case law on case filing matters, including statute of limitations, venue, and probate. He also represented clients in financial litigation, while assisting with complex trial preparation, drafting complaints and pre-trial motions, and preparing deposition materials.
