CPLS, PA
Intellectual property rights were created to preserve the value of imagination, creativity, ingenuity, and goodwill. The importance of intellectual property rights in the United States is evidenced by inclusion in the United States Constitution. Some statement of intellectual property rights is included in many contract for goods or services. Basic knowledge of intellectual property rights is important for large and small companies. Intellectual property rights are defined by national sovereignty; treaties allow for some shortcuts in international protection. This presentation covers broadly various forms of intellectual property and their practical application.
