A graduate of the University of Illinois-Chicago School of Law, Nils began his career as a prosecutor for the Cook County State's Attorney's Office in Chicago, where he prosecuted cases in some of the busiest courtrooms in the nation, gaining extensive trial work experience. Nils transitioned to private practice and has represented thousands of clients, defending against felony, misdemeanor, and drunk driving allegations throughout Illinois and Wisconsin. Nils has tried over 25 jury trials and countless bench trials, and he also has extensive experience drafting and arguing motions challenging violations of constitutional rights.
Nils maintains his Illinois law license but focuses his practice in Wisconsin.
