Nick Smith

I serve as a litigation attorney at Rubenstein Law’s Tampa office. Born and raised in Orlando, I have spent my entire life in Florida. My academic journey took me to the University of Florida, where I earned both my bachelor’s degree and law degree. During my time in law school, I worked at the Hillsborough County State Attorney’s Office, handling the prosecution of misdemeanor and DUI offenses.

My professional journey began as a defense attorney for large insurance companies and corporations, where I gained valuable insights into how these entities approach and evaluate cases. This experience equipped me with the knowledge to effectively counter these strategies. However, I soon realized that my true calling was to advocate for individuals and families harmed by others' negligence, rather than defending corporations.

Throughout my career, I have achieved favorable outcomes in various cases, including motor vehicle accidents, premises liability, trucking accidents, and wrongful death cases. I am dedicated to ensuring that my clients receive the compensation they deserve, having secured multiple six-figure and seven-figure settlements and jury trial verdicts. I am a firm believer in maintaining open communication and providing clear guidance to my clients throughout the legal process.

When I am not working, I enjoy running, watching college football, traveling, and spending quality time with my friends and family. My wife and I have two young children, and together, we love exploring all that Tampa Bay has to offer.
