1 Questions Answered
Q. What does it mean if I sign consent to appoint my step mother personal representative of my fathers small estate?
A: Generally, the personal representative of an estate is that person who is charged with handling all the various duties of administrating the estate, including (but not limited to) identifying and properly distributing assets, making sure that creditors of the estate are paid, and seeing to filing required documents with the Orphan's Court.

Without knowing the specifics of your situation, it is not possible to say how consenting to your Step- Mother's appointment will impact you or your father's estate. I suggest that you consult with an attorney that practices Estate law.
