Attorney Michael J. O’Loughlin is fortunate to have a career he truly enjoys. For over 17 years Michael has been dedicated to helping families and individuals with the legal and financial concerns that arise with aging loved ones. He believes in the importance of proper estate planning, not only for his clients and their peace of mind, but for the security and well-being of their families as well.
Michael prides himself on his ability to be a good listener, and to take the time necessary to understand the needs and desires of each individual client. He feels this level of commitment is necessary in developing an estate plan that is best suited to each client's unique situation.
Michael regularly serves as an estate planning consultant to other professionals such as Financial Planners, Accountants and Attorneys. Michael is a frequent lecturer on Living Trusts and related Estate Planning topics.
Michael is a 2000 graduate of the University of Missouri - Columbia School of Law. While attending law school, he was Associate Editor of The Gavel and was recipient of the Nelson Award, given to the top students in the Wills and Trust Drafting class. He is a member of the Elder Law Committee of the Missouri Bar, and a member of the Estate Planning and Probate Administration Law Committee of the Missouri Bar. He is licensed to practice law in Missouri and Utah. He is a Past President of the Randolph County Bar Association and has served on the Planned Gifts Committee for the Randolph Area YMCA. Michael received a bachelor’s degree in Communication Studies from Brigham Young University in 1997.
Michael was raised in Randolph County, Missouri and in his youth received the rank of Eagle Scout. He continues to be active in the Boy Scouts of America. Michael is active in his community and is a member of the Moberly Rotary Club. Michael has been married to his wife Teresa for 23 years, and they have been blessed with 5 children.
