- I was the sole domestic staff attorney at a non-profit that provides legal services on a reduced fee basis to the low-income residents of Elkhart County. I provided services in both English and Spanish, ranging from intake and initial consultations to trial or settlement. I represented clients in family law, landlord-tenant, and general civil litigation cases. I was also instrumental in developing a county-wide domestic violence referral program with area non-profits, women's shelters, private practice attorneys, and judges. I increased the caseload from 36 to well over 100 active cases and worked on more than 300 cases during my tenure.
