Claimed Lawyer Profile

Matthew J. Yetter received his Juris Doctor degree from the Willamette University College of Law where he received multiple academic awards. He also attended the University of Oregon College of Law as a visiting student. Prior to law school he attended Southern Utah University and Utah State. He joined Curry & Williams, PLLC in August 2007 and practices primarily in the area of divorce and family law and is a seasoned litigator who focuses his practice in King, Pierce, and Thurston counties.

Family Law disputes can be some of the most difficult times in a person’s life. Mr. Yetter is compassionate and understanding towards the clients he represents and their families. While there may be similarities from case to case, Mr. Yetter has found that each person he meets with is an individual with varying interests and their own story to tell. Whether your case is a high conflict case or a relatively uncontested case, Mr. Yetter will take the time to listen to you, discuss your options and help you decide the best course of action.

Mr. Yetter is highly experienced representing clients in the following areas: divorce, cohabitation, paternity, child support, spousal support (alimony), parenting plans, division of assets and debts, separation agreements, legal separations, domestic violence protection orders, restraining orders, temporary orders, contempt, enforcement of court orders, mediation, arbitration, and trial.

When Mr. Yetter is not practicing law, he is busy spending time with his wife and five children. He loves being outdoors with his family, including camping and hiking. He is also an avid sports fan and Little League volunteer. During the baseball season he can be found supporting his children in baseball and fastpitch as well as the Seattle Mariners. He also enjoys theater and is a subscriber at The 5th Avenue Theater and Broadway at the Paramount.
