Mark Lang Creede
Lang, Richert & PatchMark L. Creede is an AV rated (Martindale-Hubbell Preeminent) construction law attorney specializing in private and public work contract disputes involving heavy highway, commercial, and industrial construction, mechanic's liens, stop payment notices, payment and performance bonds, subdivision bonds, commercial construction defect claims, change orders, delay, disruption, and acceleration claims, bid disputes, surety law, design professional liability and claims, insurance claims, litigation, arbitration, and mediation. He represents general engineering contractors, general building contractors, subcontractors, material suppliers, owners, developers, architects, engineers, sureties, and insurance carriers. Mr. Creede is also a construction arbitration panelist with the American Arbitration Association and a member of the AGC California Legal Advisory Committee. Before practicing law, he was a construction engineer for six years, working for Johnson Controls, Inc., San Francisco Branch, specializing in mechanical, electrical, electronic, and digital control systems design and installation, project management, applications software, personnel training, and engineering department management. He is a past Chairman of the Fresno County Bar Association Construction Law Section and past member of the Board of Governors of the Association of Business Trial Lawyers, San Joaquin Valley Chapter. Mr. Creede earned his Bachelor of Science degree, with honors, from the School of Engineering at California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo, and his law degree from University of San Francisco School of Law.
