Farrell Weaver & Okun
Lisle T. Weaver is a Partner at Farrell Weaver & Okun.
Lisle has invaluable experience navigating complex cases – including homicides and sexual assaults – through jury trials. He has worked in every type of criminal proceeding: grand jury sessions, investigations, preliminary hearings, suppression motions, jury trials, death penalty trials, post-sentence motions, appeals to the Pennsylvania Superior Court, appeals to the Pennsylvania Supreme Court, post-conviction relief petitions, expungements, and pardons.
Lisle has been involved in many high-profile cases and understands the value of analyzing the intricacies of each case at every phase. Having the case dismissed at the preliminary hearing or suppressing all of the government’s evidence during pre-trial motions is just as satisfying as hearing the foreperson of a jury say “not guilty.” Lisle does not care how it happens or when, but he wants the best possible outcome for every one of his clients. Lisle is a zealous advocate and unrelenting trial attorney.
Writing is a vital aspect of Lisle’s practice as he has handled numerous appeals and post-conviction proceedings. He has argued before the Pennsylvania Superior Court many times and has had cases successfully reversed. In 2022, Lisle had his first published opinion come from the Superior Court. The case is now precedential law in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania that is cited to by attorneys across the state.
Aside from criminal cases, Lisle handles juvenile cases as well. Although juveniles regularly face many of the same charges as adults, juvenile delinquency cases differ greatly from criminal cases. Lisle has successfully tried cases in juvenile court. He employs the same tenacity as he would for a homicide trial and fights for his juvenile clients.
