Legal Answers
14 Questions Answered
Q. 51 in a 30 in Lake County, IL. Clean record otherwise, going to court tomorrow hoping for supervision. Need a lawyer?
A: Yes you should absolutely retain an attorney who can assist you in keeping the matter off of your public record (for insurance purposes, etc.).
Q. I received a cell phone ticket in Chicago and the police officer set the court date at 19 after issuance.
A: Supreme Court Rule 504 - 14-60 days / not 21-60 days

The date set is within the rule
Q. License reinstatement Illinois?
A: Your question cannot be answered with a simple on-line answer. My strong suggestion is that you contact an attorney in Illinois whose practice is concentrated in the area of administrative Sec of State hearings and can guide you. Once you have been denied, the denial creates additional issues that you need to address over and above the normal application process.

Good luck in getting this resolved.
