Kevin Lee Edwards

Attorney Kevin Edwards, co-founder of DFW Injury Lawyers, brings a wealth of legal expertise to his practice. During his time in law school, Mr. Edwards honed his skills working for a prominent local personal injury attorney. His experience spanned pre-litigation, litigation, courtroom, and trial work, covering various cases, from car wrecks to medical malpractice.

Following law school, he joined a Dallas-based civil litigation and insurance defense firm, where he defended corporations, insurance companies, and more. However, his experiences led him to shift his focus to helping plaintiffs. In 2008, he switched to the other side of the courtroom, dedicated to assisting those who suffered injuries due to negligence or recklessness.

Over the past 15 years, Mr. Edwards has passionately represented thousands of injury victims, handling personal injury matters, defective product cases, and mass tort litigations involving medical device and pharmaceutical companies.

Mr. Edwards is a licensed attorney in both State and Federal Courts in Texas, earning various accolades throughout his career. He was recognized as a "Rising Star" by SuperLawyers® from 2013 to 2017, designated "Top 40 Under 40" by the National Trial Lawyers Association from 2014 to 2017, and consistently honored as a "SuperLawyer" since 2018. He's also a member of prestigious legal organizations, including the Million Dollar Advocates Forum and The National Trial Lawyers Association.

Originally from Houston, Texas, Mr. Edwards attended the University of Texas at Austin on a swimming scholarship and earned a Juris Doctorate from Texas Tech University School of Law in 2003. He remains dedicated to providing top-notch legal representation and achieving just results for his clients in the DFW Metroplex, where he has called home since 2003.

Kevin Edwards is a co-founder of DFW Injury lawyers. After approximately five years on the defense side of the docket, Mr. Edwards had seen enough of the corporate and insurance company greed. In 2008, Mr. Edwards moved across the courtroom aisle to help plaintiffs whom he had seen from experience suffer real, and often times, debilitating injuries and were deserving of compensation. Over the last 15 years, Mr. Edwards has dedicated his practice to helping those who have been injured or harmed by the negligence, malfeasance, and/or recklessness of others.
