Kabara Korth Praskavich is a partner at Maddox & Gerock, P.C., where her practice is devoted entirely to domestic relations. She earned her law degree from Georgetown University Law Center, where she received the school’s pro bono certificate for completing over 350 hours of volunteer work—most of it in family law. During law school, she interned at the Servicemembers Legal Defense Network, supporting LGBT and HIV-positive service members under the now-repealed “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell” policy. She also clerked in the D.C. Superior Court on matters involving adoption, civil commitment, and child protection.
Kabara holds a bachelor’s degree in history from the University of Chicago. She lives in Maryland with her spouse, children, and their dog. Outside of work, she enjoys reading, hiking, traveling, and exploring her love of all things nerdy.
