Justino Mirabelli
Trial is life.
Justino was born and raised in Chicago, IL to a Father who is an attorney and of Italian descent. His Mother immigrated from Jalisco, Mexico. Both parents emphasized that hard work was the best path to success, a pillar to Justino’s approach in both his career and life. Justino graduated from Whitney Young Magnet High School (Chicago, IL) and obtained a Bachelor’s degree from Quincy, University where he joined the Mock Trial Team and competed in American Mock Trial Association (AMTA) tournaments. He recognizes the rare opportunity Quincy University gave him to learn the rules of evidence and brief case law even prior to applying to law school. Justino worked in Chicago’s hospitality industry for years between college and law school.
Justino obtained his Law Degree from the UIC School of Law (f/k/a The John Marshall Law School). During law school, Justino clerked for the Cook County State’s Attorneys Office wherein he obtained a 7/11 license from the Illinois Supreme Court allowing him to conduct trials. After graduating and obtaining his Illinois license to practice law, he joined a large Family Law firm and focused on divorce, custody and domestic violence litigation for nine (9) years. During that family law experience he dedicated most of his efforts and time to litigation and becoming a proficient trial attorney.
Justino’s love for the law provides constant motivation to improve his trial skills and tactics. He enjoys advocating for others and believes it to be an honor. Justino subscribes to the idea that helping and interacting with real people is the foundation of the legal profession and learns as much from his clients as he does from legal research.
After relocating to Florida, Justino obtained a Florida license to practice law and shifted his courtroom focused style of practice to personal injury. He is vocal in his position that it is a privilege to join the experienced Rubenstein Law firm to advocate for those who have been injured and seek justice.
