Founder & Of Counsel: The Law Offices of Justin Spizman at Solomon & Jeffries; 2012 - Current; I am the founding member of the criminal division at Solomon & Jeffries, LLP. After years of prosecuting and representing those accused of crimes in the State of Georgia, I am fortunate to head the criminal division and offer those arrested and charged with crimes in Georgia high-value and experienced representation. I work diligently with my clients to sculpt a meaningful and detail-oriented defense to their cases to ensure they obtain the best possible outcome in an otherwise stressful and intense experience. Because of my years of training in DUI law, I focus my practice on defending those accused of these very technical and involved crimes. While I also handle all other criminal offenses, I have carved out a reputation in Courts across the State as a zealous advocate who is completely dedicated and determined to acquire the best possible result for my clients. Criminal and DUI Defense Attorney: The Ferguson Firm; 2011 - 2012; The Ferguson Firm is a criminal defense firm specializing in DUI defense, alcohol and drug related arrests, and traffic related offenses. While there, I handled the caseload and managed the cases from arrest to acquittal. This opportunity allowed me to further my trial skills and techniques and litigate numerous cases in almost every county across the State of Georgia. While there, I spent time studying the relationship between alcohol and the central nervous system, as well as how ethanol is broken down and can impair and adversely impact fine motor skills-- specifically the ability to operate a motor vehicle. Through understanding this imperative connection, I can better represent my clients and defend them of the alleged offenses with which they are charged. The Ferguson Firm offered me the opportunity to develop relationships with Prosecutors and Judges which helps my clients day in and day.

Criminal and DUI Defense Attorney: Cuzdey, Ehrmann and Wagner; 2009 - 2010; While here, I worked as an associate attorney to build a boutique criminal defense practice focusing on defending those accused of DUI. Using my experience as a prosecutor, I represented hundreds of defendants arrested and accused of DUI and other crimes. No day passed where I was not in court protecting the life, liberty and freedom of my clients. I meticulously worked with clients to sculpt the best defense and minimize the consequences of an arrest. I tirelessly worked to keep an arrest from becoming a conviction, focusing on filing and arguing motions to get cases dismissed before trial. While here, I continued by education in field sobriety testing and breath testing to ensure that when I walked into court, I had the same training as the officer who arrested my client. My experience as a prosecutor provided a certain confidence and comfort in front of a jury, enabling the best possible defense if my client's case went to trial.

Assistant Solicitor General: Fulton County Solicitors Office; 2007 - 2009; For over two years, I served as an Assistant solicitor general prosecuting thousands of misdemeanor crimes with a primary focus on DUI's. Through acting as head counsel on the prosecution of dozens of Jury trials and hundreds of motions, I perfected my experience and knowledge in DUI law and the technical training required to successfully handle these cases. I was given the opportunity to study standard field sobriety testing, breath testing, and all aspects of a DUI arrest to ensure I was familiar and knowledgable about this complicated area of law. This experience has proved to be invaluable now that I represent those accused of DUI's in the State of Georgia.
