Joseph M. Noone joined the law firm of Avery Dooley, LLP in October 1994 and in 1998 became a Partner in the firm (now Avery Dooley & Noone, LLP). He focuses his practice on the representation of individuals and businesses engaged in civil litigation in both the state and federal court systems. Mr. Noone has successfully litigated numerous matters in both state and federal court. He focuses on legal matters concerning insurance defense litigation and coverage matters, products liability, construction litigation, property and fire damage claims, employment, and personal injury.
In addition, Mr. Noone represents individuals and entities in all aspects of residential and commercial real estate transactions. He also assists individuals in the formation of business entities.
Prior to his joining the firm, Mr. Noone was Assistant Counsel at Liberty Mutual Insurance Company, where he gained valuable experience managing bad faith litigation, and acted as coverage counsel to the home office claims department.
Mr. Noone is an active member of the community, particularly in Belmont, Massachusetts, where he has lived most of his life. He has served on several Boards, including the Belmont Planning Board. He has also served as a Town Meeting Member and acted as the Chair of several committees. He is active in coaching youth sports and lives in Belmont with his wife Caroline and children Catherine and Suzanne.
