I was Hon. Calvin Osterhaven's Law Clerk. As such, I researched Michigan case law and counseled the Judge on a whole host of family law issues, including divorce. In fact, out of the thousands of cases we handled, the biggest one (a set of six boxes holding the parties' files) was a divorce that kept being litigated for years over who possessed the fishing boat! No kidding. Also, I was the Judge's bailiff and maintained the decorum of the Court.
