Attorney JoAnn Dodge founded Dodge Law, P.C. in June 2016 and has been utilizing her experiences to adapt to the challenges faced by clients.
Attorney Dodge completed her undergraduate studies in Psychology and began working in the residential department of a private school for students with autism, brain injury, and dual diagnosis. She continued her education in autism, learning to see things from various perspectives, before working in a public school district as a special education teacher for students with autism before pursuing her law degree.
Attorney Dodge has a background and experience working with families from a variety of cultural and economic backgrounds with children who demonstrate a wide variety of needs.
Attorney Dodge began working in the immigration field during law school and gained experience in a variety of immigration petitions as well as immigration court and appeals before the Board of Immigration Appeals and various U.S. Court of Appeals including the First Circuit. All of which prepared her to best represent her clients from start to finish.
In addition to Dodge Law, Attorney Dodge was also Of Counsel for Attorney Susan Church located in Cambridge, Massachusetts prior to Attorney Church leaving private practice. Attorney Dodge has been involved in the Martha Vineyard’s Response in September 2022, various clinics associated with the Commonwealth of Massachusetts’ Office of Refugee Resettlement and has presented numerous Know Your Rights presentations.
Attorney Dodge has developed a reputation for humanitarian representation among her colleagues, bringing a trauma informed approach to legal representation. She is also one of only a few immigration attorneys in New Hampshire, who focuses of removal defense and represents clients before the Family Division in New Hampshire for purposes of Special Immigrant Juvenile Status for those children who qualify.
