Jenny M. Forehand

Ms. Forehand is proud to be a sixth generation Texan. While her family’s military service made for a mobile childhood, the DFW metroplex has been her home for more than ten years and is where she received her post-secondary education, first as a Magna Cum Laude graduate of the University of Texas at Arlington and then at Texas A&M University School of Law in Fort Worth. Once she graduated, Ms. Forehand had the unique opportunity to work with and be mentored by some of the best litigators in the area and see first-hand how to employ winning strategies both before and during trial. In her last position as a senior associate at a high-volume collection firm, Ms. Forehand oversaw the prosecution of thousands of consumer/debt cases, winning hundreds of motions and trials all over Texas and settling hundreds of cases in excess of her client’s expectations. Ms. Forehand has a wide breadth of civil litigation experience including commercial, labor and employment, oil and gas, personal injury, and family law, but her primary focus and passion is consumer protection, both through debt suit defense and through prosecuting claims of deceptive trade practices. Ms. Forehand has worked on the other side of these cases, and knows how big companies try to take advantage of consumers. But her previous work also taught her the weaknesses of those companies, and she uses that knowledge every day to benefit her clients at Saputo Law Firm. Ms. Forehand is a member of the American, Texas, and Dallas Bar Associations, Dallas Volunteer Attorney Program, the Dallas Association of Young Lawyers where she is in the Leadership Class. Ms. Forehand is passionate about giving back to the community through her service work including volunteer work with the homeless and mentoring youth. When Ms. Forehand is not working for her clients or volunteering, she enjoys hiking with her puli dog, Judge Dredd, and experiencing DFW's cultural offerings.
