Legal Answers
1 Questions Answered
- Q. Can a parent wave support if they both agree?
- A: If the granddaughter is on Medicaid, and the couple splits, the Child Support Enforcement Agency (CSEA) may file for your son to pay child support. If they are still together and making it work, there is likely no reason to get the court or CSEA involved. If he ever went to court for a child custody order, then child support is likely to be ordered, as well.
