Jeffrey Heck
Attorney jeff Heck represents injured people throughout North Central Ohio
Jeff Heck has extensive legal experience handling all types of injury, wrongful death cases & insurance claims, as well as civil commercial litigation & labor and employment matters. He is a court-trained Mediator, serving for the Richland County Court of Common Pleas, as well as a private Mediator/Arbitrator in numerous cases .
Jeff has his roots in North Central Ohio. He grew up in the Mansfield area, graduating from Malabar High School and The Ohio State University where he was a 4 year member/Squad Leader of The Ohio State University Marching Band. He graduated with Honors from The University of Florida College of Law and has over 30 years of extensive courtroom & other legal experience. He is admitted to practice law in both Ohio & Florida & federal district & appellate courts.
Jeff began his legal career with a very large Florida law firm, returning to Mansfield in the late 1980's to help people where he grew up. He is a strong believer in "giving back" to the community, putting his time & energy into many non-profit organizations . He served 4 terms on the Lexington Local Schools Board of Education, is Past Board Chairman/Board Member of the Renaissance Performing Arts Association & the Rehabilitation Services of North Central Ohio, Past President of the University Club of Mansfield & its Educational Foundation & Trustee/Secretary of the Richland County Foundation, among others.
Jeff also gives back to the legal profession & service has included Secretary of the Richland County Bar Association & Litigation Chair of its Certified Grievance Committee. He served 22 years on the Ohio State Bar Association's Council of Delegates and is a Fellow of the Ohio State Bar Foundation, as well as many OSBA committees and task forces. He is a member/District representative of the Ohio Association for Justice & the Ohio State Bar Association, Richland County Bar Association and the Florida Bar.
