Jason Rice has been practicing law for over 13 years. He currently practices in Maine and New Hampshire.
He graduated from the University of South Florida in Tampa and earned his law degree from Stetson College of Law in Gulfport, Florida.
Jason began worked as a Staff Attorney for the 13th Judicial Circuit Court in Tampa. In that role, he assisted judges in a variety of areas, including family law. During that time, he also co-authored, “Relocations: A Judge’s Perspective,” with the Honorable Judge Daniel Sleet.
Jason worked as a Career Staff Attorney at the Second District Court of Appeal, which was the busiest appellate court in the State of Florida. Jason was then hired by one of the nation’s largest insurance companies. In this position, Jason litigated hundreds of cases throughout the State of Florida–both settlements and those taken to trial.
Jason and his wife, Jessica relocated to Maine in the Spring of 2019. After initially working at a boutique law firm in Portland, Jason was recruited to a national family law firm in 2020, one of the largest in the United States.
Jason's passion is family law. He shared this passion with students by teaching family law courses for ten years at Hillsborough Community College in Tampa.
