James J. Ruggiero Jr.
Helping families pass on their legacy
Since 1990, I have been dedicated to assisting families and business owners in crafting estate plans that ensure the successful transfer of their legacies to future generations. I own Ruggiero Law Offices LLC, which has locations in Paoli and Center Valley. My practice areas include estate planning, estate administration, elder law, business law, and real estate. My planning experience encompasses the utilization of wills, both revocable and irrevocable trusts, IRA trusts, and life insurance trusts. From an administrative standpoint, I have managed the administration of estates of varying complexities, from insolvent estates to those whose values exceeded $20 million, including ten-year estate accountings. I have carved out a niche in working with closely held small business owners, advising them on formation, growth, and succession planning. I have also provided counsel on contract negotiations, employee contracts and disputes, patents, copyright, real estate leases, and purchases.
I have achieved board certification as an Estate Planning Law Specialist, a distinction awarded by The Estate Law Specialist Board, Inc., an attorney-run subsidiary of the National Association of Estate Planners & Councils in Cleveland, Ohio. I am also designated as an Accredited Estate Planner by the National Association of Estate Planners & Councils.
Furthermore, I am the Pennsylvania partner for Elder Care Matters, a national directory of elder care resources, and a member of the Chester County, Pennsylvania, and American Bar Associations, actively participating in the Elder Law, Probate, and Trust Real Property Sections. I am also actively involved in my community, serving on the East Goshen Township Zoning Board and the boards of Amigos De Jesus and the Amigos De Jesus Foundation.
