Born and raised in Chattanooga, TN, Micah graduated from the McCallie School. Micah then earned a full scholarship to Tennessee State University, graduating in 3 years. After graduation, he worked at the Tennessee State Legislature as an intern for the Senate General Welfare, Health & Human Resources Committee. Micah then worked at Congress as an intern in the U.S. House of Representatives. From there, he went back to the State Legislature to serve once more as an intern in the Senate. Micah decided to attend law school after seeing many of the people at the Legislature and Congress were lawyers. After interning at the Legislature and Congress, Micah then attended the University of Arkansas School of Law on scholarship. There he worked for various individuals including a law firm, externing for a bankruptcy judge, and being a student lawyer through the University of Arkansas Legal Clinics helping indigent clients. He also worked for the local prosecutor’s office through the Legal Clinics. Upon graduation from the University of Arkansas School of Law, Micah was selected as one of the top 10% of lawyers (185 new attorneys from 2,309 applicants) to enter the prestigious Attorney General’s Honors Program done by the U.S. Department of Justice. There Micah worked as a trial attorney through the United States Trustee Program on criminal and civil bankruptcy matters. Licensed in Tennessee, Georgia, and Arkansas, Micah has now opened his own law firm, helping people with legal issues in various jurisdictions. From the beginning until now, Micah has helped people in various capacities. From public service to private practice, he is now available to help people more.
