Biography

I am a bilingual business and immigration attorney admitted in Florida and Minnesota, and my practice sits at the intersection of immigration, tax, real estate, and commercial disputes. In addition to my J.D., I am a CFA charterholder, CGMA, and IRS Enrolled Agent—and a Florida Certified General Contractor. That combination lets me approach cross-border matters with both legal precision and financial fluency, from EB-2 NIW, EB-1, EB-5, PERM/L-1, and family-based filings to IRS examinations, entity structuring, real estate transactions, and related controversies.

I also serve as trial counsel in civil and business litigation. I represent entrepreneurs, investors, and closely held companies in contract and shareholder disputes, real estate and title issues, unfair competition, and recovery/collection matters—handling strategy from pre-suit through discovery, motion practice, mediation, and trial.

Clients come to me because I connect the dots: immigration strategy that anticipates tax consequences, tax planning that supports business growth, and practical insights drawn from years working alongside Florida developers, brokers, and closers. I frequently advise Mandarin-speaking clients on U.S. market entry, visas, asset protection, and transactions.

I am a Fellow of the American Bar Foundation, serve on The Florida Bar’s Consumer Protection Law Committee, and participate in the ABA Business Law Section Leadership Academy (2024–2026). My community work earned the Heart of Florida United Way “Financial Stability Impact Award” for VITA service, and I’m listed by Elite Lawyer (Business & Commercial Law, 2024–2025). I also author practical guides for Chinese-speaking readers on U.S. immigration and tax, and I advise a Beijing law firm on U.S. legal matters.

Fluent in English and Mandarin Chinese (简体中文), I provide clear, business-minded counsel to help clients move capital, people, and projects with confidence.
