Biography

For 28 years, Ms. Cardenas has helped countless immigrants dealing with various legal issues like DACA, deportation, and family immigration. Immigration law can sometimes get complicated. Even the most experienced immigration attorney must constantly stay on top of changes in the laws and statutes. Over the years, Ms. Cardenas has utilized a comprehensive and personable approach to help my clients achieve their goals.

She is the daughter of The Honorable Raymond Cardenas, Retired, one of the first Mexican American Judges in the State of California, and founding member of the Mexican American Bar Association. Her mother is an immigrant from England who was orphaned in World War II and migrated to the United States for a better life. Ms. Cardenas earned her J.D. from the University of California, Hastings College of Law in 1990, and her B.A. in Political Science from the University of California at Los Angeles in 1986. Ms. Cardenas has been an active member of the California State Bar in good standing since 1991.

    The initial consultation will be directly with Ms. Gloria Cardenas. The consultation fee is $100.00 and this covers the consultation, detailed analysis, and an estimate of fees and costs. If retained, the $100.00 will be applied to the retainer. In limited cases, such as deportation proceedings, the initial consultation is $350.00 given the expeditious nature and complexity of such representation.
