- Q. I was stopped and arrested in MS despite no crime. Charged with "No ID" and "Failure to Comply." Court date is May 6th, 2025. How was I arrested and booked?
- A: Based on the information you provided, it's hard to tell why you were pulled over in the first place. Your attorney should be able to gather more information about the reason for the stop at your first court appearance. You should make your attorney aware of your concerns, and ask them to do some digging as to the issue of probable cause.
- Q. Can a closed custody case be reopened in a different MS county?
- A: No, the case would have to stay in Madison County, or Madison County would have to transfer the case to Hinds County.
- Q. How can I obtain guardianship of a child to enroll him in school?
- A: I would start with contacting your local Youth Court. They can help you get custody and get the child enrolled in school.
