- Gary was admitted to the Ohio Bar in 1979 and admitted to the Florida Bar in 1986. His law office specializes in cases involving consumer rights and deals with rip offs by scam artists, family members, lawyers,(legal malpractice), accountants(malpractice), financial "planners", to improper actions taken by motor vehicle repair shops. They deal with a wide variety of violations of geriatric rights and exploitation/abuse by care givers, nursing homes, and sometimes a persons own children or step children. They handle cases involving trust & probate litigation, banking law violations, unfair and deceptive trade practices, employment issues, as well as personal injury cases. They have worked with Police Departments in Broward County and Palm Beach County regarding crimes against the elderly and consumer rip-offs, which may include violations of federal and state laws involving fair debt collection practices, fair credit reporting, truth in lending, employment rights, and violations of the ADA. Gary is the father of 7 year old Adam Susser, who is cortically blind and quadriplegic cerebral palsy, and Adam's twin brother Brandon. Gary and his wife Judy, along with Adam, are active lobbyists, in both Tallahassee and Washington D.C., on a multitude of issues from embryonic stem cell research to medical malpractice, to lack of doctor discipline, to the drastic need for Florida to step up to cope with medicaid and education issues for underprivileged and disabled children. Gary has been sitting for the past three (3) years on the Boca Raton Advisory Board for the People with Disabilities, and sits on the boards of two (2) charities: the ADAM SUSSER FOUNDATION and BIT BY BIT, a Parkland based hippo-therapy program for the disabled. He also sits on the State wide executive board of the FLORIDIANS FOR EMBRYONIC STEM CELL RESEARCH & CURES, Inc. He has also coached soccer, basketball, and baseball at the Peter Blum YMCA for four (4) years. What he does in his spare time is anyone's guess.
