Professional Experience: Fred has over a decade of legal experience. After passing the bar in 2007, he clerked for Judge Herndon in Clackamas County Circuit Court. Fred moved to Bend and joined Stahancyk, Kent & Hook in 2010 and in 2019 was elected a shareholder with the firm. In 2024 he joined Phillips Traylor Myers Goodin & Schroeder as a partner.
Professional Activities: Fred is an active member of the Oregon State Bar, the Deschutes County Bar Association, and the Jefferson/Crook County Bar Association.
Community Involvement: Fred has been an active volunteer in the community coaching youth sports and as a leader for Boy Scouts of America.
Interests: Fred is an avid sports fan. He also enjoys outdoor activities including skiing, cycling, and hiking. But most of his free time is spent with his family as he re-experiences the joys of childhood vicariously through his kids.
