Frankie Cannone
Growing up in Massachusetts, Frankie watched his mother, a 25 year career public defender, prepare for trial at the dining room table. He knew by the age of 7 that he wanted to follow in her footsteps and become a lawyer.
He graduated from the University of Maryland, where he was a College Park Scholar and president of the Tau Beta Chapter of Tau Epsilon Phi. He then earned his Juris Doctor from Tulane University School of Law where he fell in love with New Orleans. After law school, he returned to Massachusetts and worked as an assistant district attorney, handling hundreds of cases and trying over 35 jury trials. Missing New Orleans, he moved back and started working for a large defense firm representing national and international insurance companies. Frankie now focuses his practice on representing victims of serious personal injuries and hurricane litigation.
Much like the other lawyers at The Chopin Law Firm, he provides a unique insight in how he handles his cases from his many years of defending them. He knows exactly how an insurance company will value your case and what work needs to be done to get them to the table. In his free time he enjoys traveling, exercising, and watching Boston sports teams.
