FAWN B. DYER is a family law attorney with Weinberger Divorce and Family Law Group LLC. Ms. Dyer is highly experienced in all aspects of family law, including divorce, child support, child custody, alimony, equitable distribution, complex asset valuation, adoptions, domestic violence, juvenile delinquency issues and all other family law matters.
Fawn Dyer is drawn to the practice of family law because it allows her to directly help people navigating through one of the most stressful times of their lives. Ms. Dyer has built a well-regarded reputation for handling complex, highly contested divorce and family matters, from the initial filing through case conclusion, as well as helping clients negotiate their matters through low conflict methods, including mediation. Ms. Dyer provides each of her clients with creative and compassionate legal representation that focuses on strategic solutions to address her clients’ unique needs and goals.
Before joining Weinberger Divorce & Family Law Group, Ms. Dyer represented divorce and family law clients for nearly ten years in her solo practice. She also served as an appointed pool attorney law guardian representing children in New Jersey Division of Child Protection and Permanency (formerly DYFS) child abuse and neglect cases. Ms. Dyer was appointed as law guardian for minor children-heirs in a complex foreclosure matter in Essex County. Among her notable court cases, Ms. Dyer successfully argued an appellate division case regarding college expense contribution: Novak v. Novak, No. A-2340-11t2, unpublished, NJ Appellate Division, Argued October 11, 2012, Decided March 22, 2013.
Ms. Dyer is admitted to practice in the State of New Jersey, the United States District Court – District of New Jersey, the United States Court of Federal Claims including claims under the National Vaccine Injury Compensation Act, and the United States Supreme Court.
