I am a former Senior Deputy District Attorney with personal experience in over 10,000 court cases, ranging from minor traffic offenses to homicide. In addition to criminal and traffic defense, I have been practicing Bankruptcy since 1999 and have helped thousands of clients get a Fresh Financial Start.
My practice is limited to Criminal, DUI, Traffic and Bankruptcy cases. I am NOT a general practitioner who handles many different types of law. Criminal and Bankruptcy law is the only law that I have practiced since I became a lawyer over 25 years ago.
Over the past 25+ years of practice I have worked with thousands of police officers and have appeared in court on countless occasions. Few attorneys possess my firm’s background and extensive experience in this area of the law.

CUSTOMER SERVICE - I treat clients the way I would want to be treated if I was experiencing legal problems – with honesty, kindness and respect. I do not tell clients what they want to hear just to get a case. I do not scare clients into retaining me. I will never say to a client “Don’t worry about it.” What I do is tell clients the truth, right over the phone. I call clients back, even at night or on weekends. Additionally, my staff is well-informed and very helpful if I am not in the office when you call.

FREE IN-DEPTH CONSULTATIONS - I gladly talk to new clients over the phone, for as long as you wish. I will answer every question that you have over the phone, or even in person if you prefer, for free. I will gladly explain all of your options, give you my honest opinion about what could happen to you and I even quote a fee and a flexible payment plan, right over the phone. I believe that an informed client is the best client. Again, if I was having legal problems, that is the way that I would want to be treated.

Q. Two part question: pulled over for tint and can a citation change?
A: First thing you should do is follow the instructions on the ticket and plead not guilty to both citations because if you are convicted of driving under suspension that will add an automatic one year suspension to what you already have. Second thing you need to do is contact PennDOT immediately and find out what if anything you need to do to get your license restored. It's been my experience that if you come to court with a restored license most police officers are hesitant to take it away from you again. You also may have a suppression issue for the stop if the cop pulled you over for a tint violation. Last thing, get an experienced lawyer to help you keep your license once it is restored. Most of us give free consultations go start calling around. Good luck
Q. I got a speeding ticket in Pennsylvania the court said I had the pay the fine on the ticket just to get a trial or
A: They make you pay the fine first which acts as collateral for the hearing. In NJ you get a court date right on the citation. In PA you have to either plead guilty or not guilty first. Almost every moving violation in PA transfers to NJ so I would advise you to plead not guilty and then go to court or hire a lawyer to assist you. Many judges will allow your lawyer to attend on your behalf so you may not have to attend the hearing. You did not say what the speed was, but my understanding is that 2 points transfer to NJ for an out of state violation. There area few citations that are not points that do not transfer over, which is your goal. Best of luck
Q. My son got a citation for reckless driving supposedly racing and he also got a citation for not having the car
A: Plead not guilty because there is a 6 month suspension if he gets convicted of reckless driving. Get an experienced lawyer to go to court with him for the best chance it working out. I always recommend to my client to take a defensive driving class to make it look better. Good luck!
