Domingo R. Castillo
Immigration Law, Auto & Work Accident Law, Family Law Divorce & Custody Expert
I was born and raised in Southern Calif with my beautiful latino family (6 brothers & 2 sisters & parents) that taught me to love, respect and make the best of it, even with beans and tortillas at times. My migrant parents came from Texas in 1953 who later became a Gardener and a Professional House Keeper for the rich and beautiful Jewish family’s. They taught me and my brothers to love and respect our country. After obtaining High Honors at Indio High School, I attended UCLA and then went to Law School at Univ of West Los Ángeles School of Law in Los Ángeles while I was working full time for insurance legal claims and law firms. After passing the bar exam and working for several years in Los Angeles, I opened up my office in 2002 in Indio, Calif. Today we have four offices in S. Calif.

- Q. do I have to release all medical records for the past 10 years for a tennis elbow injury? I work in warehouse?
- A: You can limit the information that the insurance carrier obtains and restrict any and all psychological treatment or med care. This also is an opportunity to reflect and review all prior injuries that may have occurred at your job. Unfortunately most insurance companies will look for any reason to Deny your claim. That is why they are looking at your last medical records instead of asking you about your current complaints. I suggest you seek legal counsel and speak to a competent workers compensation attorney to review all your legal options. Unfortunately, many employers will look for ways to terminate you after you’ve reported a work related claim or injury. Protect yourself and speak to an Experienced Workers Compensation Attorney. Sincerely, Castillo & Associates Domingo Castillo Attorney at Law
- Q. can I Withdraw my signature from the settlement if it hasn’t gone through ?
- A: Look for a competent workers comp attorney right away. Insurance adjusters will always offer you the lowest amount possible. Plus it’s very possible that the judge will not approve it for that reason.
- Q. I just closed my work comp case last year, but symptoms are back, new job and it's hard to work, what should I do?
- A: I suggest that you find a competent workers comp attorney to discuss your matter. He may find a CT claim and other important issues. Good luck!
