Dianne D'Alessandro
Project Clean SlateAfter twenty years as a Senior Trial Attorney for the State of New Jersey Dianne opened her own practice on Union Valley Road in West Milford,New Jersey. Her experience in the Public Defender's office included representing defendants on robbery, assault, sex and drug charges and appearing for the defense in State v. Joseph Harris,a death penalty case. Prior to her time in the PD's office Dianne worked as a Probation Officer, Legal Services attorney, sales clerk, factory worker and door-to-door survey taker among other positions.She has a wide variety of experience in all phases of criminal defense including parole and probation violations and municipal court matters such as MV tickets and DWI. She has also served on the Supreme Court Attorney Ethics Committee, District IIB, and was Shop Steward for Local 1037 of the Communications Workers of America. Dianne has a B.A. in Psychology from Upsala College and a J.D. from New York Law School. Her current practice includes juvenile representation, Municipal Court matters of all types, adult criminal representation and expungement of criminal records. She lives in West Milford where she is a member of the West Milford Chamber of Commerce and many other groups. She has been awarded the "High to Very High" rating for Legal Ability and the " Very High" rating for Ethical Standards by Martindale-Hubble and is listed in "Who's Who in American Law", "Who's Who of American Women" and "Who's Who in America" among others.
