Dale K. Galipo is the founder and principal of The Law Offices of Dale K. Galipo, in Woodland Hills, CA. He graduated from The University of Michigan, Ann Arbor with a degree in business administration and earned his J.D. from the UCLA School of Law in 1984.
In the 90's he enjoyed a highly successful trial record in criminal defense and personal injury law, obtaining 6 consecutive acquittals on major felony cases. The Daily Journal dubbed him "The Strikes Man" after multiple acquittals in "3 Strikes" cases and in 95-96 he began to obtain multimillion dollar verdicts in personal injury cases.
By 2004 he had focused on civil rights cases involving police misconduct and was achieving seven-figure verdicts for victims of excessive force & police abuse. In 2011 he won 10 civil rights cases in a single year! He was awarded the Defender of the Constitution Award by the Inland Empire Chapter of the Federal Bar Association in 2012 and was the Honoree for the UC Davis Martin Luther King award. In 2020, he was awarded both the coveted CAALA Trial Lawyer of the Year award and the prestigious CAOC Consumer Attorney of the Year award! In 2023 and 2024 he was among The Daily Journal’s Top Plaintiff’s Lawyers and in 2024 he was a finalist for the CAOC Attorney of the Year award as well as being a top 15 finalist for the CAALA Trial Lawyer of the Year. Additionally, he was honored with a CLAY award by The Daily Journal for his positive impact in law.
Mr. Galipo has been selected to the Southern California’s Super Lawyers list for the past twelve years and is an esteemed member of The Inner Circle of Advocates and Fellow of The American College of Trial Lawyers. Throughout the last 12 years his cases have resulted in fifteen published opinions on civil rights cases, he has prevailed in 60 trials, and he has obtained over 100 seven-figure verdicts & settlements.
