Biography

I, Clifford E. Lazzaro, started my legal journey as an Assistant Prosecutor in the Essex County Prosecutor’s Office, serving from 1988 to 1992. During this time, I also held the position of Special Deputy Attorney General for the State of New Jersey from 1991 to 1992.

Currently, I am a criminal defense trial attorney, dedicating my practice to handling criminal matters across all jurisdictions of the New Jersey Superior Court and the Federal Courts of New Jersey and New York.

Q. I am wondering if someone could help me answer questions about my case as a minor.
A: To fully answer your question, I must review your judgement of conviction or juvenile disposition sheet as well as a copy of your case file.

On sexual assault convictions and endangering the welfare of a child convictions related to inappropriate sexual contact, there is PSL, which stands for parole supervision for life. There may also be specific conditions of parole related to your second degree sexuaL assault conviction, which prohibit you from having contact with anyone under the age of 18, etc.

It is also possible to file a MOTION TO TERMINATE PAROLE SUPERVISION FOR LIFE after 15 years have elapsed from the date of your conviction provided you have not been charged or convicted of any new criminal offenses. ... Read More
