Charles J. Meyer is a shareholder at HOfstein Weiner & Meyer, P.C., a boutique family law firm with offices in West Conshohocken and Philadelphia. He represents clients in all aspects of domestic relations law, including negotiations leading to prenuptial, postnuptial and co-habitation agreements, alimony, child support, and the investigation and litigation of the financial and economic issues related to the dissolution of marriage and co-habitations. His clients include high net worth individuals, professional athletes, entertainers and entrepreneurs.
A native of Montgomery County, Pennsylvania, Mr. Meyer received his Bachelor of Science, cum laude, from Temple University, and his J.D. from Temple University School of Law in 1986. Following law school, he served for many years in the District Attorney's office in Manhattan, where he led investigations, prosecutions and trials, including multi-subject wiretap investigations. Nationally recognized for his advocacy, he has been rated AV from Martindale Hubbell and selected as a SuperLawyer by Law and Politics Magazine, including being selected as a Top 100 SuperLawyer for both Philadelphia and Pennsylvania. Most recently, Mr. Meyer was one of ten family law practitioners in the Philadelphia area selected to participate in the Ten Leaders Program.
He is admitted to the Bars of New York and Pennsylvania and is an active member of the American Bar Association, Pennsylvania Bar Association, Philadelphia Bar Association and Montgomery Bar Association.
Mr. Meyer is a fellow of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers, and presently serves as Secretary of the Pennsylvania Chapter.
