Catherine Elizabeth Christiansen
Unable to pay your monthly bills? Call me to avoid a deeper financial hole.
I am Catherine Christiansen, and for over 28 years, I have dedicated my career to assisting individuals in navigating the complexities of bankruptcy and tax debt relief as a solo practitioner. My journey into law began while I was a single mom attending law school, a period during which I experienced firsthand the pressures of living with debt. During my time in Southern California, I found solace in surfing, and now residing in Northern California, I am living my lifelong passion for horses.
To enhance my clients' understanding of their cases, I developed the 'Next Step Manual.' This guide breaks down the bankruptcy process into understandable segments, covering everything from the initial schedules to the steps from filing to hearing, and from hearing to discharge and beyond. The manual is filled with essential facts and advice to aid clients in making a fresh start.
I believe in providing personalized attention to each client, recognizing that every case is unique. I strive to respond to client inquiries within 24 hours, ensuring they receive timely and accurate information.
Additionally, I have shared my knowledge through teaching continuing education classes on topics such as 'Discharging Taxes in Bankruptcy' and 'Student Loans in Bankruptcy.' These experiences have allowed me to help others in the legal community understand these complex areas of law.
