NM, Navajo Nation, California Tribal Law Attorney | Family & Injury Law – CJ Lee
I am an attorney licensed to practice in California, New Mexico, and the Navajo Nation. My work focuses on family law, tribal law, complex business disputes, injury and wrongful death cases, as well as creditors' rights. With over 22 years of litigation experience across various jurisdictions, I represent individuals, families, and businesses in challenging legal matters that span state, tribal, and federal courts.
Before beginning my legal career, I earned a B.A. in Computer Science and worked as a contract programmer/analyst for the Indian Health Service. Later, I joined American Express’s global fraud unit. I also pursued graduate studies in public health with a focus on biostatistics, which has shaped the way I approach legal problem-solving with a strong analytical foundation.
Today, I draw on my technology background and legal experience to deliver strategic advocacy for clients dealing with cross-jurisdictional disputes, custody cases, and tribal law matters.
