Brinda Gandhi, also known as Brinda Mehta, is the principal attorney at BG Family Law, APC, and a Certified Family Law Specialist (CFLS). With extensive experience in family law, she is dedicated to achieving meaningful outcomes for her clients.
Brinda's broad-based knowledge, expertise, and courtroom experience enable her to quickly and adeptly address the unique aspects of each case, ensuring the best possible results for her clients. She is proficient in representing individuals in California and has significant experience with international divorce and custody issues. Licensed as an attorney in both India and California, Brinda provides seamless advice to clients with interests and/or children in both countries. Her deep understanding of immigration laws allows her to navigate cases skillfully.
A leader in the community, Brinda served as the past President and Board Chair for the South Asian Helpline and Referral Agency (SAHARA), a non-profit organization supporting victims of domestic violence. She received the N24 Excellence Honor for her distinguished service to the South Asian American and South Asian communities as an activist.
Recognized by political leaders, Brinda was awarded Assembly District Woman of the Year by Assembly Woman Cristina Garcia (D-Bell Gardens). With over 15 years of legal experience, Brinda earned her LL.B. from K.C. Law College, affiliated with the University of Mumbai, graduating in the top 10% of her class. She also completed The Stanford LEAD: Personal Leadership Certificate, a year-long, 8-course program that develops principled and effective leaders who are compassionate, courageous, curious, and humble.
