Brandon Bass is a shareholder at The Law Offices of John Day, P.C., located in Nashville, Tennessee, where he’s been practicing law since he graduated from the University of Tennessee College of Law in 2002. Brandon is active in several legal organizations, including: the Tennessee Trial Lawyers Association Executive Committee, Board of Governors, Amicus Curiae Committee Chair, and Mentor; the American Association for Justice on their New Lawyers Division Board of Governors; the Tennessee Bar Association’s Leadership Law; and the Nashville Bar Foundation as a Fellow and Mentor.
Brandon has received many accolades throughout his career. He has been named in Best Lawyers since 2016, selected as a Super Lawyer every year since 2012, has had a Martindale-Hubbell Preeminent Rating since 2011, an Avvo rating of 10 (out of 10) since 2010, and was recently named Trial Lawyer of the Year by the Tennessee Trial Lawyers Association for “achieving outstanding results for clients against great obstacles.”
Brandon is also a published author. He’s had a number of articles published in Trial Magazine, the Tennessee Bar Journal, and The Tennessee Trail Lawyer, and acted as the Associate Editor for the Tennessee Tort Law Letter, and the Tennessee Trial Law Report. In addition, when Brandon’s not spending time with his family, you’ll find him speaking at legal events at the Nashville and Tennessee Bar Associations, the National Bar Institute and the Nashville School of Law.
