Blair Fazzio

Blair M. Fazzio is a Partner at Kanner & Pintaluga. Her practice focuses on overseeing all personal injury and property damage appellate proceedings at the Firm. She handles all types of civil appellate matters, including extraordinary writs and plenary appeals in state courts, as well as providing litigation and trial support to preserve the record for appeal.
Blair began her legal career clerking for the Honorable Angel A. Cortiñas at Florida’s Third District Court of Appeal. Prior to joining Kanner & Pintaluga, she served as lead appellate counsel at the Office of the Assistant Attorney General of Florida where she argued complex appellate matters before both the Florida Supreme Court and the Florida District Courts of Appeal.

McCarthy, No. 4D17-1001 (Fla. 4D Feb. 26, 2018).
Blair received a B.S. from Florida State University and completed her J.D. at the University of Miami graduating with honors. She is a member of the American Bar Association and the Florida Justice Association.

- Serve as lead counsel in complex capital first degree murder cases where the death sentence has been imposed. Review voluminous records from the trial court to analyze issues such as motions in limine, jury selection, evidentiary matters, motions for mistrial, objections and preservation arguments as well as Constitutional and statutory issues. Complete extensive legal research to prepare appellate briefs in support of the State’s position. Appear before the Florida Supreme Court for oral argument.
