
April Boutillette Brinkman
Ms. Brinkman is licensed in Washington State and the Western District of Washington Federal Court. She aggressively fights for the rights of her clients from her Vancouver, Washington based law office. Ms. Brinkman practices family law, with a focus on dissolution, child custody, child support, visitation, and contempt issues; criminal law, including misdemeanors and felonies; juvenile law and education law; and civil rights and constitutional law. Ms. Brinkman is dedicated to appellate work, and she has experience appealing decisions of courts and administrative bodies. Ms. Brinkman spent a year as a Fulbright Scholar in Costa Rica and is bilingual in English and Spanish. She is a member of the Family Law Section of the Washington State Bar Association and served on the Amicus Brief Committee. Ms. Brinkman is past Vice-Chair of Southwest Washington for the Women of the Washington State Association for Justice. Previously, Ms. Brinkman was a Professor at Portland State University and a Co-Chair of the Youth and Law Forum for the Washington Young Lawyers Division.
