Advanced through a number of prosecutorial positions including county court, intake, juvenile court and district court. Represented the People of the State of Colorado for all types of court appearances and litigation. Additional responsibilities include reviewing police arrest and search warrants, advising police in ongoing investigations, analyzing evidence for sufficiency and type of charges to be filed, conducting negotiations with attorneys and pro se defendants, legal research and writing, offering support to and conducting interviews with victims and witnesses. Conceived of, implemented and chaired White Collar Crime Task Force. Specialized in white-collar cases for from 2005 to 2006. Assigned to the sexual assault unit specializing in all sex crimes from 2007 to 2009.
